Covid-free Village

Empowering villages to fight back against the virus

The Coronavirus disease has profoundly changed our lives. As the world struggles to recover, we are yet to figure out a sustainable way of supressing transmission of the virus. India witnessed loss of human lives at an unprecedented scale during the devastating second wave. Amidst fears of a third wave, epidemiologists and public health experts agree that community-based preventive measures are perhaps India’s most important weapon to fight the pandemic.

Covid-free Village

Covid-free Village is a community-led initative that takes ownership and responsibility for containing the pandemic in villages. It empowers grassroots communities with knowledge and tools to fight the pandemic life cycle with maximum preparedness and minimum adverse impact.
